Even though Spring is in the air, ski masks are staying the fuck on in the Gutter!
The Gutter Cat Gang's latest fashion trend, the ski mask, comes courtesy of new owner, Yugen (@YugenLBS), who donned a black ski mask in a recent March 15th video. The video announced the launch of GCG's long-awaited $Gang token, kicking off Cycle 1 in which participants posted tweets to earn chips.
Coming in hot after an epic week of over 1.5 million $Gang posts, Gutter Records dropped exclusive ski-mask and $Gang apparel: "Announcement," Gutter Records' tweeted. "The Ski Mask Stays On. $Gang Apparel! Limited Edition Drop."
Gutter Records' video, with AWeezy's (@AWeezyNFT) voiceover, explains that the Gutter has endured a long winter, but the strong survive the avalanche.
Gutter Records "is built for all seasons, born to get it regardless." AWeezy adds, "All of a sudden, Gang Gang is a thing again. The ski mask stays on."

The Gutter Cat Times reached out to AWeezy and Cleanny.eth (@NyCleaner) to find out more about the drop and what Gutter Records is cookin'.
Cleanny explained, "This is what we’ve always done and this is what we will always do. Connecting dots, creating in business, music, art, merch and doing what we love. Regardless of sentiment or leadership within the GCG project, Gutter Records has been building."
Aweezy said, "Gutter Records has been relentlessly pushing out music and art (through LaCommissione) for months, collaborating with legends, and just delivering overall. We haven’t asked for anything other than the support of our community."
AWeezy told the GCT, "$Gang $Gang is trending and our in house artist helped me with the design. I curated the garments and they will come out dope. I ordered a bunch for myself."
He added that it's good to see sentiment getting better in the Gutter, and is looking forward to seeing how the current team executes: "I’ve been here for all seasons, and I'm excited for what Gutter Records is creating."
This limited edition drop is open for 2-weeks on pre-order, and will be processed and shipped within a month.
