Something sinister is brewing on the streetz of the Gutter.
GCG member Collin (@collinn_eth) dropped the second part of his emerging story to the Gutter Cat Gang yesterday, and it's filled with hints of foul-play and looming terror.
"Scene 2 'Euphoric Betrayal'," he tweeted, "In the shadows of Gutter City's decaying alleyways, word spread like wildfire about the alien cats and their mysterious glow. Whispers of their arrival soon reached the ears of a cunning gang, known as the "Street Shadows." They saw an opportunity - a chance to exploit the curiosity that had gripped the city...."
Collin's tale continues with the Street Shadows' gang luring the alien cats with a gift that renders them unable to defend themselves, and dragging them to a clandestine facility beneath Gutter City.
His last, cliffhanger lines read, "Here in the heart of Gutter City's darkest secrets, they were met by a doctor, his pink fur a stark contrast to the alien's luminescent glow. With a cruel smile the doctor cat prepared to unlock the enigma of these otherworldly felines while subjecting them to experiments that would unravel the mysteries of their existence... (to be cont.)..."
As the Gutter Cat Times reported earlier, Collin is writing a four part series of Gutter lore in collaboration with art designed by GCG artist @iamMRJOUBREL.
The GCT reached out to him for more insights about the evolution of the story and art.
He shared, "The art and story are kind of progressing together. Joubrel creates something dope and then I create the next scene of the storytelling; it's a 2 man game! The inspiration really boils down to the Gutter Cats as a whole. I have always had a love for the Alien Fur cats and species. I'm using that love as the inspiration for lore of the Gutter Cat Gang!
The told the GCT, "As far as hints go, I really don't want to say TOO much, and leave it a surprise. Joubrel and I have talked about collaborating for months, and it's finally coming to life! There will be two more scenes, 3 and 4. After those are done, we have something more planned, so stay tuned!"
Collin did share some alpha, though: "After scenes 3 and 4, the next thing we have planned will allow the community to have more of a hands-on role in this lore! Gang Gang!"
