Gutter Tales: GCG Member Collin Creates Stories Inspired By Community Artist Joubrel's Designs!

They say every picture tells a story, and this GCG member is spinning tales inspired by GCG member Joubrel's creative illustrations!

Collin (@collinn_eth) recently tweeted: "An encounter of the fifth kind. In the desolate metropolis of Gutter City, where the remnants of a shattered world are ruled by a feline hierarchy of 3000, an enigma stirs. Amidst the chaos of streets patrolled by ruthless cat overlords, a verdant interstellar visitor descends - an alien cat unlike any seen before... What secrets does this otherworldly feline hold, and how will its arrival reshape the destiny of Gutter City's inhabitants?

The Gutter Cat Times reached out to Collin to get the low down on his Gutter tale and collab with Joubrel.

He said, "Joubrel and I have always had a great relationship. I've supported his art, because let's be honest, he's extremely talented and rule #1 in this space is (should be) 'support your homies'."

Collin explained, "I recently made it to Kingpin status in the Gutter so I wanted to do a little something to celebrate that milestone for myself. What better way than to do some story telling mixed with Joubrel's amazing art, right?"

Collin told the GCT that initially he was only going to ask Joubrel for a one of a kind banner, but then he was inspired to create a narrative based on Joubrel's design: "Now we have a four part series planned!" Check out the piece by Joubrel that sparked the story:

Collin joined the Gutter in 2022 because he had IRL homies in the Gang that looked like they were having a good time, so he jumped in as well. He encourages the Gang community to get involved by "blasting Joubrel's art and this story-telling collaboration all over the space."

He'd loves to see Gutter using their IP and supporting artists in the community: "Why not support smaller artists and show them love for their hard work and talent?"

"I want to thank the Gutter Cat Gang for giving me and so many others a home in this NFT space...I constantly say that I came into this space as a Gutter community member and I will go out as one. THE GUTTER WILL RISE AGAIN!" he exclaimed.
