Can I get a Heat Check?

The block was hot in Gutter City today as sneakerheads and The Gutter Cat Gang released new images and video footage of the MB.03 GutterMelo kicks!

These Gutter shoes emerged from a ballin' collab between the GCG x PUMA x Charlotte Hornets' All-Star Guard, LaMelo Ball; the Gutter Cat Gang announced the collab on May 15th.

A first-look video was shared on Twitter courtesy of MeloHive (@Meloleague), via rookicks_ Instagram: "LaMelo's MB03's are here!!!"

The video, live from the European Melo Faster Tour, spotlights the MB.03 GutterMelo sneakers, which had been teased by the Gutter Cat Gang on June 3rd, when they tweeted, "RARE."

Following the video footage, which ignited a lot of hype in the sneakerverse, the Gutter Cat Gang tweeted a picture of LaMelo holding his fresh kicks, and wrote, "Heat check. GUTTERMELO MB.03 I JUNE 29."

Though the Gutter Cat Gang team and PUMA haven't yet shared official information from their channels, Sneaker News shared the following earlier today:

"The MB.03 is set to debut in the 'GutterMelo' colorway, a collaboration with NFT collectible company Gutter Cat Gang. The imprints Gutter Cat mascot appears on the tongue in the same heat-map color gradient that matches the pattern on the synthetic overlay.

Before the IRL shoe drops later this year, the Puma MB.03 'GutterMelo' will first be available as an NFT on OpenSea beginning on June 29th (purchasable with ETH or credit card). Those who are in possession of the NFT will get a first chance to obtain the physical version of the shoe during a specific time window set at July 18th through August 20th. After that period, there will be no other opportunity to claim the shoes.

The NFT will be priced starting at $175. More MB.03 colorways are likely to follow later this Fall 2023 season."

As the gang waits for more information from the GCG and PUMA on this collaboration, Gutter Ric assured Gutter community members that they are top of mind.

"GCG holders will be prioritized," he tweeted, and added: "All official info will come from @GutterCatGang and @PUMAHoops."

Gutter Ric also shouted out the community and said, "Let's do a little onboarding.."
