There's a new Mayor in town, Gang, and this Cat is taking the wheel of GCG's socials!
Yesterday, the Gutter Cat Gang tweeted, "New beginnings. The Gutter has been acquired by @mauloadream."
The Gutter Cat Gang's official X account dropped a 28-second video that showed a screen and the sound of keyboard typing:
"fuck it, just bought the gutter.
- noah"
Erasing the initial tweet, a new one appeared on the screen, reading:
"new leadership
new chapter
new vision
still gutter."
The video then cut to the word "Gutter," with the GCG logo of the black cat beaming onto the word, as if sending out a signal to Gutter City.
Following the video, a linked tweet read, "First order of business - restore the vibes and put out some mf’in comms. The new mayor of Gutter City will be making appearances on several X Spaces to chat about the news, next up: Coffee with Captain w/@NFTbark tomorrow @ 9AM EST."
As the Gutter Cat Times reported earlier, on Monday, 10/9, Noah (@mauloadream) purchased Gutter Labs' assets and took over leadership of the GCG. Noah told the community: "I own the majority of the new LLC. The founders have a passive stake, and no official roles or decision making. I have full accountability and day to day management, and I'm holding future shares for future employees."
This past week, Gutter's Mayor has been prioritizing communications in a Gutter Discord Town Hall, Gutter FM X Space, and other major NFT X spaces. He's focused on building community, learning the business and exploring growth opportunities, and identifying short and longer term steps.
