The heat is on in the Gutter, as community members send their Clones & Juices to be scorched!
"Operation Reduce Supply" kicked off on April 28th, with the Gutter Cat Gang tweeting that it was time to "Burn Clones and Juices for Gutter Chips" on the guttergrab.com site.
This morning, Hawley (@joechawley), who's been tracking the burn, tweeted, "25 days to "Burn The Clones" ~ @GutterCatGang. 2,062 (10.13%) burned." He displayed a visual graphic showing that 18,301 Clones have yet to hit the incinerator.
As the Gutter Cat Times previously reported, the burn window will be open for 30 days, and Clones and Juices can be burned in batches of 3, 5, 10, 50, 100.
3 D1 Juices or Clones Burned = 24,750k Gutter Chips
5 D1 Juices or Clones Burned = 47,500k Gutter Chips
10 D1 Juices or Clones Burned = 110k Gutter Chips
50 D1 Juices or Clones Burned = 650k Gutter Chips
The bonus for burning D2 Clones is 5,000 per Clone and 6,000 per Juice, according to Yugen (see Discord response below).
Yugen has also encouraged Gutter community members to move forward with him and the Gutter Cat Gang's future.
Shortly after the burn launch, he tweeted, "This chart represents more than just a percentage of Gutter Clones that have been burned forever. It also represents a group of holders in the Gutter who have partly mentally moved on from what was the Clone era. This represents a mental shift and a form of closure. Onwards."
Responding to Yugen, GCG member EE said, "The closer the deadlines get, the more that will be burned. There a lot of strategies at play. Some are selling and waiting to see what people will pay for them. What ever doesn't sell will get burned at a faster rate as time goes on."
Bolty added, "I have an itch to dip and burn some trilogies for $GANG."
As of this writing, the current Gutter Grab Leaderboard has DOGGTOR.eth in the #1 spot with 4.6 million Gutter Chips, Raf in 2nd with 3.5 million, and Hawley in 3rd with 3.2 million. Rounding out the top 10 is dingaling in the tenth spot with 1.7 million Gutter Chips.
