The Gutter Cat Gang is filled with hard working strays who've got ambition and grit.
One GCG member who embodies the culture is Pete.eth (@petedoeth), who taps into the Gutter mindset and uses it in the world of competitive combat sports!
"Wins Losses still gutter," he tweeted recently, sharing a picture of himself and an opponent at the end of a Jiu Jitsu match, waiting for the referee to declare a winner. Check out the image and tweet below from a 'Submission Only' tournament he participated in:
The Gutter Cat Times reached out to Pete.eth to learn more about his time in the Gang, his Gutter mentality, and how he applies that to competitive sports.
He said, "The GCG community is such a vital part of my journey. For a decade now, I've been involved in combat sports, specifically Jiu Jitsu and wrestling. What started off as a hobby turned into a lifelong journey."
"I joined the GCG a little over a year ago. What caught my attention and convinced me to join were the raw artistry, visionary mindset, and the marriage of sports with the cultural elements that Gutter was crafting," he explained.
Pete rocks Gutter Cat #605, a 6-Trait feline with Brown Fur, Squinted Green Eyes, Stubble, Thick Gold Necklace, Farmer Shirt, and a Pink Background, and can be seen bringing positive vibes to Gutter Culture and community on the TL!
Pete.eth told the GCT, "I have plans to build with IP and IRL activations. My goal is to build awareness around the emerging sport of submission grappling and the Gutter Community. More in the coming months, so stay tuned!"
Can't wait to see what this GCG member cooks up, and how other Gang can support or get involved!
