OFF THE TOP ROPE: GCG Member & Wrestler MikeyWhatNow Brings Gutter Grit To The Ring!

Are you ready to rumble?!

Gutter Cat Gang member MikeyWhatNow.eth (@MikeyWhatNow) has been part of the independent pro wrestling circuit, and is looking to get back into the ring!

"Been away doing my own thing for a bit, if I come back to wrestling this year what promotion/s would you like to see me with?," MikeyWhatNow tweeted recently.

The Gutter Cat Times reached out to MikeyWhatNow to find out more about his time in the Gutter and his wrestling career!

He joined the Gang in October, 2021, winning his first Pigeon in a contest held by Gutter Dan, a GCG Founder.

After missing GCG's mint when its timing changed, Mikey later met Dan during former NFL wide-receiver Dez Bryant's NFT launch party in NYC: "I had a great time at the party, and decided I was joining the Gutter the next chance I could. I connected deeply with the streetwear culture brand that they were building."

MikeyWhatNow rocks Gutter Dog #2029, a 6-Trait pup, with Fishscale Fur, Spinner Hat, Blue-Green Eyes, Diamond Stud Earring, Thin Silver Necklace, and White Background.

MikeyWhatNow's been in pro wrestling for over 13 years, and told the GCT, "I watched wrestling as a kid, and always wanted to be a wrestler." On the skinnier side for the business, he almost quit and started fighting MMA.

He explained, "What keeps me in the ring is I've always been a person that has goals and then works my ass off until I achieve them." Mikey continues to work to get signed by a major company.

Bringing his web3 mentality to the wrestling world, he co-hosts an X space with Gabe Sapolsky (@BookItGabe), who's also a GCG member and wrestling promoter. They bring together people in the wrestling biz to network, creating space for Hall of Famers to give advice to up-and-coming wrestlers. Check out a shot of the space below:

MikeyWhatNow would love for Gutter members to come out and watch one of the independent wrestling matches he's involved in: "Promoters see who has interactions and fans," he said.

For the GCG's future, he explained, "I'm hoping we build this into one of the coolest world-wide street brands in history. We've got the tools, we've got the talent, and now we just gotta build and make it happen." Gang Gang!

The Gutter Cat Times will continue to follow MikeWhatNow's wrestling and other news from the streets of the Gutter. Follow along @guttercattimes on X for all things Gutter, all the time.
