Gutter Fun n' Games: Community Member Gives Away 1k To Slay Minecraft Dragon!

After hitting 5k followers yesterday, this Gutter Cat Gang community member launched a creative gaming initiative with a prize worth 1k in ETH & NFTs!

nyoung.eth (@nyoungdumb) tweeted, "Okay everyone, time to do something fun. I have placed the seedphrase of this wallet (https://etherscan.io/address/0xef13fa16dcba6dd313e1031f3eacc950ed7f765f…) in a minecraft server. The only way to get it is to kill the Ender Dragon. Anyone can try but it's first come first serve. It's holding over $1,000 worth of ETH/NFTs."

Nyoung.eth told the Gutter Cat Times, "I set up the game 'cause I hit 5,000 followers and wanted to do a giveaway, but didn't want to do the tired and lame “like retweet share” nonsense. I wanted to do something fun and different."

Included in the winnings were NFTs from several communities, including the Gutter Cat Gang!

Though he half-expected the game "to get hacked or cheated in some way and beaten in minutes, thankfully that didn't happen and it lasted about 5 hours before someone won." He said that the people who played told him they had fun and that he should do another one. He said, "I probably will."

GCG member ChicagoSpartan.eth showed up on the TL with props for nyoung.eth: "This is bad ass! Well done."

nyoung.eth joined the Gang through clones, and rocks his first OG Cat, #1834, as his PFP. It's a 5-Trait, with Piebald Fur, Yellow Eyes, Gold Stud Earring, Hawaiian Shirt, and a Green Background.

He picked up this heater Cat "just a few weeks ago," and said: "I always wanted one, just could never afford it. Thank God for the FUD and paper hands, I guess."

He's also a part time developer and though still honing his skills in that "side hustle," he said, "I can play games all day long!"

Looking ahead, he'd like to explore more ways to do virtual seed phrase scavenger hunts, potentially with Fortnite. Sounds like the Gutter Gaming Club might be just the place to hang out!
