The Gutter's got a finger on the pulse of the music scene, and is bringing dope beats to the streets to share with the Gang and others.
Gutter Cat Gang member GlassOnTheBeat (@GlassOnTheBeat) recently dropped his latest beat, 'WTHold Up,' showing it off on the TL with a rad, faded Gutter Dog image.
"Soundcloud link to new beat," he tweeted, sharing the link: https://soundcloud.com/glassonthebeat/wthold-up.
As the Gutter Cat Times previously reported, GlassOnTheBeat got into producing drum and bass tracks back in college.
He explained, "I've been inspired to improve a lot recently in order get into the music industry. That's been a goal of mine."
"For my beat 'WTHold Up,' I wanted to make a brighter, more soulful track with live instruments. I am aiming to make music more in that style for now," GlassOnTheBeat added.
GlassOnTheBeat told the GCT that he's switched from making trap beats to rap/hip-hop style beats because he wants to produce tracks for AWeezy (@AWeezyNFT) of Gutter Records.
"He has a great voice, great lyrics, and I believe he'll be famous. AWeezy already has songs with famous artists and producers so it's a challenge for me to rise to the occasion. In addition, I'm grateful that he takes time to consider my beats when he's busy pursuing so many cool business ventures," GlassOnTheBeat shared.
GlassOnTheBeat also shouted out support from the Gang: "Nana JJ has been giving me good advice as well, and he's been making great music." Be sure to check out Glass's beats and YouTube videos here: https://www.youtube.com/@glassonthebeat/videos
The Gutter Cat Times will continue to follow GlassOnTheBeat and Gutter's artists and creators, and bring you the latest from the Gutter.
